P. Sangreiwung (23) S/o Peter of Mapum village under Chingai sub-division in Ukhrul district found bludgeon to death inside the campus of Sindamsang Residential High School at Chingmeirong under Lamphel PS of Imphal West District.

 Th-Com & 34 AR arrested PULF (Umar Farooque) cadre Md. Ramijuddin Shah @ Ramji (28) S/o Md. Jallaruddin of Sora Mamang Leikai from Sora area at around 5:30 pm.

IE-Com & 28 AR arrested 2 PREPAK cadres Maimom Imu @ Chitaranjan Singh (25) S/o M Tomchou Singh of Bashikhong Panthoibi Bazaar, Takhellambam Sanayaima Singh (27) S/o T Kumar Singh of Bashikhong Bazaar from Bashikhong Panthoibi Bazar at around 8:00 am.

After shoot-out between KYKL & NSCN (IM) cadres near Khoupum Dam on May 10 3 innocent civilians Lungampou (17) S/o Pouthailung of Gaidingjang Part I, Isau (16) S/o Lungangam of Gaidingjang Part II, Gaithuisin (16) S/o Poujendai of Gaidingjang Part II were abducted. Zeliangrong Union, Nungba Zone condemned, & urge safe release without any condition.

14th May 09:

KCP abducted adopted Wahengbam Roshan S/o (L) Nando adopted son of dean Central Agricultural University (CAU), Iroishemba Naorem Iboton Singh in connection with extortions demand from University authority. Locality staged Wakat Meepham AMSU & DESAM appealed to all concerned to release.

New born baby girl found dead inside a drain near public lavatory of Wahengbam Leila, Imphal bus parking at about 1:30 pm.

IW-Com arrested Nameirakpam Gambhir Singh (27) S/o (L) N. Tomba Singh of Luker Mamang Leikai, Khoirom Ojit Singh @ Brojen (38) S/o (L) Kh. Jatra Singh of Moidangpok Awang Leikai from Luker Makha Leikai and Moidangpok Awang Leikai respectively.

Grenade hurled & exploded at courtyard of Mangsatabam Gojendra Singh (56) Secretary of Planning and Development Authority under Manipur Housing & Urban Development (MAHUD) sustained injuries mother Ketuki Devi (82) & sister in Law Sanatombi Devi (62) at around 4. 15 pm. Citizens' Club, Soibam Leikai condemned appealed to all concerned not to repeat such dastardly acts.

15th May 09:

Non-local barber Montu Thakur (24) S/o Ram Pratap of Regusarai district of Bihar staying in rented in Soyam Leirak shot dead at Tera Khamnam Keithel, Soyam Leirak junction at about 6:50 pm

IW-Com killed KCP cadre Md. Hafirzudin at Lainingkhul from Langol Games Village under Lamphel PS at about 6:15 pm. 9 mm pistol, 3 live rounds, 1 magazine and One Chinese hand grenade recovered.

28 AR & 34 AR arrested 2 PREPAK cadres Puthem Nabhachander @ Torobot (30) S/o P Modu of Andro Chingdon Leikai & Hijam Shyam @ Jeevan (30) S/o H. Amu of Andro Litan Piphan from Maching Pat area at around 7:00 am.

IE-Com & 28 AR arrested 3 KYKL cadres K. Surjit Singh (45) of Wangkhei, Pebam Ibotombi @ Tondon Singh (27) S/o P. Tomba Singh of Heirangoithong Jaganath Achouba & Thoudam Tomba @ Herojit Singh (21) S/o Th. Thambaljao Singh of Heirangoithong Maibam Leikai from Kongpal Laishram Leikai.

IE-Com arrested KCP (MC) cadre Atao Rahaman @ Apiki (18) S/o Md. Ayajuddin of Lilong Mairel Khun from Minuthong Hatta at around 5.20 pm

IE-Com arrested KCP (MC) cadre Mutum Samo Singh (30) S/o (L) M. Shyamjai of Nungaipokpi but staying at Khurai Chandam Leikai, New Checkon.

 IW-Com arrested one  KYKL cadre Meinam Somorendro Singh (34) S/o (L) M. Shyamkishore Singh of Mayang Imphal Maning Khunou serving as Rifleman of 3 IRB under Rifleman no, 1194003 & presently posted at 2nd IRB Games Section from Paona Bazar in front of Videocon House at around 5:30 pm.

Kuki based militants shot dead a middle age man Lenkholal Haokip (50) of Kangpokpi Ward No. I at Changveng village under Kangpokpi PS.

16th May 09:

IW-Com & 39 AR & 12 MLI killed 6 KYKL cadres Leishangthem Simon (19) S/o Budha of Koutruk Ching Laikai, Angom Priyojit @ Ngongo (17) S/o Subash of Phayang Awang Laical, Angom Guni (24) S/o Langbaljao of Phayang Ching Humour, Keisam Sanatomba (31) S/o (L) Tomba of Lamshang Heibongpokpi, Mayengbam Chaothoi (23) S/o Narahari of Lamjao Part II, Tezpur Awang Leikai Keisam Sanatomba @ Rabi @ Rosan (31) S/o (L) K. Tomba of Lamsang Heibongpokpi at hillock located between Koutruk and Haraothel at junction of Imphal West and Senapati District.

IW-Com & 12 MLI killed two UG cadres Yumnam Bamkim (21) S/o Mayumngan of Mayang Imphal, Yendrenbam Shyamkumar @ Boy (22) S/o Ibomcha of Waheng Khuman Mamang Leikai at Mayang-Imphal Konchak Pat at about 4:25 pm.

Unidentified person shot dead two youth Soraisam Jiten (36) S/o (L) Bidhu of Sagoltongba but residing at Lamshang and Kongjengbam Manao Meitei (22) S/o Rajendro of Lamdeng Mayai Laikai at Khurkhul Singjangpokpi under Sekmai PS.
