Th-com arrested UG cadre Md. Razaque Khan @ Ethem (30) S/o Md. Abdul Hashim, Md. Arish Khan (28) S/o Md. Habibur Rahaman of Yairipok ChangaMd.abi Makha Leikai from Yairipok Lamkhai at around 5:25 pm.

Unidentified gunmen shot dead Meinam Nanao @ Tangden (26) S/o Chinglen of Ningthemcha Khul near his house at about 11:45 pm.

Th-com & 34 AR shot dead Unidentified UG cadre near New Tollen Village of Thoubal district. One .9 mm pistol loaded with 1 bullet and 1 magazine with 3 bullets recovered.

Unidentified person hurled a hand grenade at residence engineer in Minor Irrigation Kharibam Shyamchandra of Thongju Boroi Makhong and injured Kharibam Shyamchandra (55) of Thongju Boroi Makhong, One Longjam Meghe (38). Motive & identity of assailants could not be established.

20 AR arrested PLA cadre Songaih (20) S/o Vungkhhan Suah of Tuikha in Tamu, Laipu (23) S/o Khanjacin of Tuikha in Tamu from Bongyang check post.

 
3rd May 09:
Unidentified gunmen shot dead married women Aheibam (O) Rameshori Devi @ Bembem W/o Aheibam Zee @ Nanao of Iroiesmba Maning Leikai under Lamphel PS at her own house at about 9:00 pm. Iroishemba Apunba Meira Paibi Lup appealed to clarified for responsible.

Th-Com & 21 AR killed under ground activist Thounaojam Surjit @ Thambou (22) S/o Khomei of Langmeidong Mamang Leikai at kakching Uya Road under Kakching PS at about 11:00 pm.

IE-Com & 28 AR killed UG cadre Md.Mustafa @ Azharuddin (24) S/o Jalauddin of Keirao Mating Mathak Leikai at Keirao Makhapat Takhok Palli Kachin under Irilbung PS.

Unidentified gunmen shot Md. Khamba (27) S/o Jalauddin of Keirao Makting Makha Leikai under Keirao PS on his right calf near his house at about 9:00 am. Admitted at Shija Hospital Imphal.

Kangpokpi Police killed UG cadre Sorokhaibam Amarjit (27) of Chaorem Makha Leikai but staying at New Checkon at Changoubung at around 2:30 pm along NH-29 under Kangpokpi PS.

31 AR killed Unidentified under ground activist near Govajang village along Indo-Myanmar border under Moreh PS in Chancel Dist.

29 AR killed Unidentified UG cadre at Goumi village under Tengnoupal PS in Chancel Dist.

Th-Com & 20 AR killed UG cadres Miorangthem Manglem (25) of Khangabok part –III at Langol-Minou road bordering Thoubal & Chancel Dist. at around 2:45 pm. Innocent school van driver. JAC formed demanding judicial inquiry.

Red Shield division killed Unidentified UG cadre at Khundong in Tamenglong Dist.

Clash broke out between armed cadres of 2 Kuki UG group along IT road near Kangpokpi Bazaar and injured Kaminthang Mate (22) S/o Lunsei Mate of Kangpokpi ward no.2

14 Maha regiment killed NSCN (K) cadre Philip Zeme of Asalu Village in NC hills at Lamka village under Tamei PS at around 6:30 pm. Zeliangrong Students' Union Manipur (ZSUM) and the Kuki Students' Organisation (KSO) vehemently condemned.

Hand grenade exploded at the residence of Dr. Bilashini at Thangmeiband Hijam Leikai Imphal around 6:30 pm.

Chinese Made hand grenade left behind near residental Gate of Moirangthem Shambubu Chief engineer of monor Irrigation Department at Tera Sapam Leirak. Employees of Minor Irrigation Department staged a protest demonstration in front of their office complex at Lamphelpat.

29 AR arrested 2 KYKL cadres Yengkhaom Shyam Kanhai @ Sanjoy (20) S/o (L) Yengkhom Thanil of Thing (Sendra) Bishnupur, khoirakpam Bhaiga Chandra Singh of Thing (Sendra) Bishnupur while moving towards Imphal.

4th May 09:
12 MLI & AR arrested KYKL (OGW) cadre Sanjoy Rajkumar (46) S/o Kullasana of Sagolband in Imphal West Dist. from Takyel area.

28 AR arrested UNLF cadre Hidangmayum Sanatomba Sharma (32) S/o (L) Ibotomba Sharma from Porompat, Imphal.

28 AR & 34 AR arrested PULF (Azad) cadre Md. Abdul Kalam @ Kalam (24) S/o Md. Abdul Oalam from waithou.

23 AR arrested 3 KCP (MC) cadres from Yumnam Khunou.

IW-Com & 39 AR killed 2 UG cadres Mayengbam Bijoy (30) of Yumnam Ngakrabam Leikai, Gurumayum Bishe Sharma (32) S/o (L) Samu of Bheigyabati Leikai Mangil at Kameng under Lamshang PS at around 10:30 pm

Unidentified person lobbed a hand grenade at Chingmeirong residence of Yumnam Inao. Local stage sit-in-protest.

Unidentified person hurled a hand grenade at video editing centre, AGC at Lamphel Super Market.

Bungo (35) of T. Khullen village under Senapati Police former personal of Naga Regiment was abducted along with his 207 DI Tata from Senapati bazar & found dead from along river bank near Khabum village. Not bear any bullet injured but bore signs of beating. 207 DI truks found sold to a man from Khubum village at very chep price. 2 persons suspected to involved were rounded up by local people, but yet handed over to police. Senapati District Drivers' Welfare Union (SDDWU) Tadubi strongly condemned.

5th May 09:
Hand grenade was found lying at side of road at Churachandpur bus parking, Keishampat at about 7:00 am.

Policeman posted at SP Ccpur office complex found murdered near a waste dump with multiple bullet injuries on his head and chest. Kuki Students' Organisation, Churachandpur submitted a memorandum to Chief Minister demands identification of culprits, arrest & punishment according to law, payment of suitable ex-gratia, rehabilitation of family as currently practised by Government, payment of all permissible benefits as per service rule to family without any delay and that State Government should take all initiative to prevent such untoward incident in the future.

Th-Com arrested (NEMF) cadre Md. Hussain Khan @ Anil (23) S/o (L) Md. Tomba of Khekman Makha Leikai during checking and frisking.

29 AR & 26 AR arrested 2 Myanmarese Suan Kim Thajang (39) S/o En Khancin of Tongjang, Myanmar, Tuan Khan Thang (35) S/o (L) Suan Zakhup of Tongjang Tamu, Myanmar.

4 IRB killed student of class XII Lalsanglen Mangte (17) S/o (L) Seikhosat of Thangkhanphai at Thangkhanphai village under Saikul PS at around 8:30 pm.Tension ran high in Saikul area with infuriated mob attacked PS. 48-hour bandh in Sadar Hills.
